Authorities Ask for Tips After Gunfire Hits Coventry House
Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s help after a bullet struck an occupied home in Coventry Wednesday night. It happened just after 10 p.m. on Reed Road. Investigators believe the bullet, which was fired from a handgun, came from several hundred yards away—possibly from the area of Route 105, south of the residence. State Police don’t believe the home was targeted and say there is no threat to the public. But they are hoping someone may have seen or heard something that night. If you have any information, you’re asked to contact the State Police in Derby.
