ST. JOHNSBURY — A task force in town is now focused on public safety. Town Manager Chad Whitehead said the task force of town officials and representatives from local support agencies aims to address concerns frequently raised about community safety. The board supports the task force, said Whitehead, and he made connections with people whose input could have an impact. Topics to consider by the task force will cover issues like traffic safety and pedestrian safety, but addressing crime is a top priority, Whitehead said.
