A SUBDIVISION HAS BEEN PROPOSED FOR THE JCPENNEY BUILDING IN ST. JOHNSBURY’S GREEN MOUNTAIN MALL. MALL OWNER MARK HEALY HAS APPLIED FOR A “SUBDIVISION OF THE JCPENNEY BUILDING OFF OF GREEN MOUNTAIN MALL. HEALY SAYS AFTER SERVING CUSTOMERS IN THE 50,000 SQ. FT. SPACE SINCE 2007, THE STORE CLOSED EARLY IN 2021 AND HAS BEEN VACANT SINCE . WHILE THE GREEN MOUNTAIN MALL BUILDING THAT ONCE HOUSED JCPENNEY WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE ST. JOHNSBURY DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD MEETING ON NOV. 16 , HEALY SAID HE COULDN’T SPEAK ABOUT THE PLANS FOR THE SPACE UNTIL AFTER THE DRB MEETING.
