A man from Putney, Vt., was flown by emergency helicopter
A man from Putney, Vt., was flown by emergency helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Saturday afternoon after suffering serious injuries when he crashed the off-road recreational vehicle he was operating in Errol, N.H. Michael Anderson, 42, was operating his UTV on the 13 Mile Woods Trail in Errol when he lost control and rolled the machine over, notes a report from Lieutenant Mark W. Ober, Jr. of the N.H. Fish & Game Department. A child passenger, who Lt. Ober reported was secured in a child restraint system and was wearing a helmet with eye protection, suffered minor injuries. The child was taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, N.H. for treatment. This crash is still under investigation.
