A Groveton man has been accused in federal court of exploiting a teen by picking her up at her residence in the Northeast Kingdom and driving her to New Hampshire for sex. Brandon Couture, 38, who was arrested on Thursday and made his initial appearance in court on Friday, faces one count of transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Hampshire said in a statement issued Friday.
