BURKE — A bullet found on the floor at Burke Town School on Thursday does not appear to be the result of a malicious act. That was the word from Vermont State Police, who were dispatched to the school at about 11:14 a.m. in response to a suspicious event. The school is located on Burke Hollow Road. Investigation revealed that the bullet found on the floor had gone through a wall, hitting a bookshelf before landing on the floor.
