Three residents are among 15 people indicted
Three residents are among 15 people indicted in connection with a Lawrence, Massachusetts-based drug trafficking operation. Johnnie Boynton, 41, and Aaron Loew, 44 of Littleton, and Benjamin Conkright, 28, of Whitefield, are currently in custody, officials with the office of U.S. Attorney Jane Young announced in a press release issued Thursday. The investigation involved law enforcement at the federal and state levels, as well as assistance from two local police departments. According to federal officials, law enforcement, during the last day and a half, arrested nine of the 15 defendants on charges of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and cocaine. The alleged leader of the drug trafficking enterprise used a social media messaging application and other means to coordinate narcotics transactions with customers in New Hampshire via “runners” in Massachusetts, from October 2021 through August 2023, said U.S. Attorney officials.
