Fall Foliage Train Rides Headline Fall for St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Train rides with scenice fall foliage views will be featured as part of the annual Fall for St. Johnsbury festivities on Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 On both days, trips will depart from the Welcome Center at 51 Depot Square in St. Johnsbury at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. There will also be a scenic round trip between downtown St. Johnsbury and Barnet on Saturday, Oct. 10 aboard a train departing at 5 p.m. from the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center. A 1.5-hour sunset trip makes its way to Ryegate and back. The cost of the ticket will include one seasonal beverage – cocktail, mocktail, beer, wine, or soft drink – plus appetizers from St. Johnsbury Distillery and cider donuts from Eddie’s Bakery. Proceeds from this premium ride help keep regular-ride tickets affordable for the local community.
