Lancaster Town Hall Auditorium Closing for Summer Heating System Overhaul

LANCASTER — The Town Hall auditorium will be closed this summer as officials move forward with a major overhaul of the building’s outdated heating system. The auditorium space, located on the first floor of the historic building, will be unavailable for roughly six weeks while contractors replace the aging steam heating system. The current steam system, which has not been reliably serviced since 1996, is in serious disrepair.
