A heads up if you’re trying to get a new car, make home improvements, or make a big purchase
BURLINGTON, Vt. – A heads up if you’re trying to get a new car, make home improvements, or make a big purchase. The Vermont Attorney General’s office says those areas made up almost half of all consumer complaints last year. The most common complaint to the Consumer Assistance Program – or CAP – is still home improvement, but fuel disputes became more common, jumping up 6 spots. The Attorney General says CAP recovered and saved a record $2 million for Vermonters last year.
