The Select Board expressed its support for the expansion
LYNDON — The Select Board expressed its support for the expansion of the Lyndonville Police Department (LPD) during a meeting on Monday, endorsing a proposal by Chief Jack Harris to add a fourth officer in response to rising activity levels and call volume. The proposed expansion would add nearly $148,000 to the LPD’s budget and requires approval from Town Meeting voters in March. In comments following the meeting, Chief Harris expressed gratitude for the Select Board’s backing.
