LANCASTER — The suspected tagger got bagged. Lancaster Police on Wednesday arrested 32-year-old Jason Williams of Columbia for allegedly spray painting profanity on multiple signs and street surfaces throughout town. Notably, he is accused of defacing three Welcome To Lancaster signs, which were subsequently taken down until the graffiti spree ended. He faces five counts of criminal mischief with a maximum one-year jail sentence and a $2,000 fine. Williams was also charged with operating with a suspended license and operating with a suspended registration. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is slated to appear in 1st Circuit Lancaster Court on Sept. 16.
