The town is looking at more than $1 million in storm damage

LITTLETON — The town is looking at more than $1 million in storm damage —1/10th of its total budget — and the fire chief/emergency management director will be requesting a public hearing before the Select Board to withdraw up to $1 million from the town’s undesignated fund balance. In the meantime, Littleton Fire Rescue Chief Chad Miller said he will proceed with a disaster declaration to seek reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Administration, though recent FEMA rule changes could make reimbursement more challenging. During a Select Board work session on Friday, Miller gave the board the latest storm damage update.
