After 60 years, Tamarack Tennis Camp is no more. Re-branded as simply Tamarack

EASTON — After 60 years, Tamarack Tennis Camp is no more. Re-branded as simply ‘Tamarack,’ it has shifted business models in the face of financial challenges. Moving forward, it will be an outdoor recreation center catering to day visitors, according to co-owner Mike Kenney. He added that education and conservation will also be a part of Tamarack’s mission. According to Kenney, the Tamarack Tennis Camp has been financially stable up to now. However, he said, demographic trends (such as declining numbers of children) and encroaching regulations made it financially impossible to continue the tennis camp.
