On June 14 at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Derby Line Fire Department received a report

DERBY — On June 14 at approximately 5:30 a.m., the Derby Line Fire Department received a report of a fire at 3262 Route 5 in Derby. Department firefighters upon arrival observed heavy smoke and fire in the attic area of the True Value rental building. Fire suppression efforts were conducted, and the fire was extinguished. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Officials stated the fire does not appear to be the result of a criminal act.
