The Planning Board on Tuesday heard plans to relocate Dunkin Donuts
WHITEFIELD — The Planning Board on Tuesday heard plans to relocate Dunkin Donuts. Owner Rick Albert aims to move the fast food restaurant from 8 Union St. to the Bank of New Hampshire building at 22 Kings Sq. Bank of New Hampshire planned to consolidate its Whitefield branch in the 25-year-old bank building addition. Albert told the Planning Board he has a handshake agreement to buy the century-old original bank building located at the intersection of Elm and Main. The proposal calls for Dunkin Donuts to occupy a 1,870 square foot, street-level space, including an estimated 12 to 14-seat dining room area. Behind the building would be three parallel drive-through lanes: The one closest to the building for Dunkin Donuts and two others for bank teller and ATM services. The project requires a change of use permit and the Planning Board has tentative plans to hold a public hearing on June 4.
