A Littleton man allegedly attacked a St. Johnsbury man
A Littleton man allegedly attacked a St. Johnsbury man. Christian Laflamme, 23, pleaded not guilty to felony aggravated assault and was released from jail by Judge Michael R. Kainen on conditions. Vermont State Police Tpr. Riley Fenoff responded to the location on May 1, at approximately 8:45 p.m. “I was dispatched to an assault at 588 Avenue A in the Town of St. Johnsbury,” wrote Tpr. Fenoff in the report. “I was informed by dispatch before I arrived on scene, that the complainant, Elijah Cassidy, 24, had called and stated he had been assaulted and choked out by Christian Laflamme.” Laflamme was adamant that no fight had occurred between any of the parties. Tpr. Fenoff said he could smell the odor of intoxicants coming off of Laflamme, and he was also talking slowly and slurring some of his words. Laflamme faces a possible sentence of 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
