A Colebrook native who has practiced law for nearly three decades in his hometown could be the next judge at the New Hampshire Superior Court.During the New Hampshire Executive Council’s March 27 meeting in Concord, Gov. Chris Sununu nominated Jonathan Frizzell, a partner in the Waystack Frizzell law firm, as a superior court justice. Following a public hearing before the executive council next week, Frizzell could be confirmed in a council vote in May. Frizzell graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991, followed by the Franklin Pierce Law School (UNH) in 1996, whereupon he was hired as an associate for a Colebrook law firm launched by Phil Waystack in the mid-1970s.
