White Mountains School Board to Review Grade 7 8 Consolidation Plans April 24

WHITEFIELD—The White Mountains Regional School Board will revisit plans to consolidate middle school grades at its next meeting on April 24 at the Jefferson Community Center. The Education Programming Subcommittee will present three options for grades 7 and 8. The options include maintaining the current arrangement with grades 7/8 at Lancaster and Whitefield Elementary Schools; moving grades 7/8 to the high school while keeping grades K-6 unchanged; or relocating grades 7/8 to the high school and possibly redistributing grades K-6 within the elementary buildings. Each plan will be presented with its pros, cons, and financial impacts.
