Vermont State Police reported that a man driving a 2004 Ford F-350 was killed

Vermont State Police reported that a man driving a 2004 Ford F-350 was killed in a crash in Groton Monday night. Matthew Flood, 34, of Walden, died when the truck left Rt. 232 near Kettle Pond and rolled over. Trooper William Nally noted that emergency responders were alerted a few minutes before 9 p.m. about the crash. They found the truck rolled over off the roadway and Flood, the lone occupant, dead. Trooper Nally noted that the weather was clear, the road was dry, and the driver was not wearing a seat belt. State police was assisted at the scene by firefighters from Peacham, Plainfield, Marshfield and Cabot. A CALEX Ambulance crew also responded.
