Two Massachusetts boys were injured in an ATV crash

WHITEFIELD — Two Massachusetts boys were injured in an ATV crash on Friday evening. According to New Hampshire Fish and Game, the boys, ages 12 and 13, were traveling at a high rate of speed on a private gravel road when the driver lost control. The boys — who were reportedly wearing proper safety equipment — suffered significant but non-life-threatening injuries. Fish and Game said, “the crash was caused by a combination of speed and the youth operator attempting to operate beyond his personal capabilities.” Authorities were notified immediately after the accident occurred at around 7:45 p.m. Whitefield EMS transported the boys to Littleton Regional Hospital for treatment. No further information was provided.
