Truck Flips in Two Vehicle Crash on Western Avenue in St Johnsbury One Driver Injured

ST. JOHNSBURY — Eastbound traffic on Western Avenue near the Maplefields entrance was stalled on Thursday morning due to a two-vehicle crash that flipped a truck and injured one of the drivers. Morgan Fox, 31, of Greenfield, N.H., was taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital by CALEX after the 2010 Toyota Corolla he was driving struck the side of a 2023 GMC truck driven by Fred Laferriere, 67, of St. Johnsbury. St. Johnsbury Police Officer James McGowan reported that Fox was treated for “non-life-threatening injuries” and released from the hospital on Thursday. Laferriere said he was not hurt. He said he was traveling west and was trying to turn left into the Maplefields store when the Corolla traveling east struck his truck.
