The planned senior living community near Littleton Regional Healthcare took another step forward

LITTLETON — The planned senior living community near Littleton Regional Healthcare took another step forward Monday after the Select Board gave preliminary approval for sewer upgrades to the town’s pump station near Dells Road and a new sewer line along St. Johnsbury Road. About half of the estimated $2 million upgrade is expected to be funded through a federal grant and the other half by the developer. Proposed at 1262 St. Johnsbury Road by Granite Senior Services LLC is a congregate care facility that will feature a spectrum of senior care units, to encompass independent living in multi-family dwellings, assisted living in apartments, and memory care in apartment-style living, as well as a separate 53,000-square-foot medical office building that will serve on-site residents and the greater community.
