The parking rules at Centennial Park are clear

LANCASTER — The parking rules at Centennial Park are clear: Stay off the grass. last week, the Select Board carved out an exception. By a 2-1 vote last Monday, the board waived parking restrictions at Centennial Park during town-sanctioned events for this summer only. The decision allows performers, vendors and attendees to continue parking on the grass along the perimeter road, School Street, during the following weekly events: The town band concert series on Wednesdays, Rockin’ The Park concert series on Fridays, and farmers markets on Sundays. The Select Board decision to waive the parking restrictions this summer is a short-term fix.
