The Kiwanis Pool’s water woes are over. Repairs to the broken water main were completed Friday, and the long process of filling the pool began shortly after noon. Kiwanis Club President Scott Beck commended the team from Fairbanks Mill in St. Johnsbury, which completed the work. “All credit to them. They had that thing repaired within 24 hours of the parts getting here,” said Beck, thanking Fairbanks Mill owner Brandon Boudreau, project manager Dennis Desrochers, and others who assisted in the effort.
