The Kingdom East School District has launched a series of community meetings
The Kingdom East School District in the Lyndon, Burke, Concord. Sheffield, Newark and Sutton areas has launched a series of community meetings to gather feedback on the district’s teacher shortage and potential options to reorganize some grades. KESD Superintendent Jen Botzojorns alerted the district to the potential shortage, most acutely affecting the middle school grades, last month, and distributed a survey to evaluate and rank a number of possible solutions that school leadership teams had brainstormed.
