The information of more than 2,400 people in New Hampshire may have been compromised
MANCHESTER, N.H. — The information of more than 2,400 people in New Hampshire may have been compromised after a data breach at AnnieMac Home Mortgage. The company notified the state attorney general Thursday about the data breach, saying it discovered suspicious activity in August. The activity included someone with unauthorized access viewing and or copying certain files from systems on its network. Some of the files may have contained names and Social Security numbers, the company said. AnnieMac said there is no evidence the information has been used to commit identity theft or fraud. Up to 171,000 people nationwide may be affected by the breach.
