The defense attorney for Berk Eratay filed a motion last month

The defense attorney for Berk Eratay filed a motion last month to dismiss one of the federal charges against him. And now, the alleged mastermind of the Danville murder-for-hire wants to join Eratay on his motion to dismiss. But Vermont federal prosecutors recently filed an objection to the motion. Authorities say Greg Davis, 49, was kidnapped from his Danville home and killed because Serhat Gumrukcu was concerned about Davis’s fraud allegations which would ruin Gumrukcu’s formation of a new company called “Enochian Biosciences.” Authorities say the Enochian deal eventually earned Gumrukcu $100 million dollars in stock. The FBI alleges in court documents that Serhat D. Gumrukcu, Berk Eratay, Jerry Banks and Aron Lee Ethridge were involved in the conspiracy to kill Greg Davis
