Suspicious Fire Destroys Barn in Lyndon Early Saturday Morning
Investigators are looking into the cause of a suspicious fire that destroyed a barn in Lyndon early Saturday morning. The Lyndonville Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire involving an old barn at the intersection of Greenpoint Lane and Grimes Road just before 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Responding crews observed the structure to have been completely consumed by the fire, and no suppression efforts were conducted. The barn was used as storage and did not house any livestock at the time of the fire. All the contents were lost in the fire.
