St Johnsbury to Hold Final Public Meeting Tuesday on 378 Million Armory Bond Vote Ahead of June 3 Decision
ST. JOHNSBURY — Townspeople will have their second and final chance on Tuesday to meet and discuss a plan to relocate the police department and emergency dispatch services into the Armory before deciding on a $3.78 million bond request a week later. The public is invited to the informational meeting in the Welcome Center on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. It’s the second of two such meetings ahead of a vote on June 3 about whether to support the Armory project with $3,781,873 in additional tax money. The June 3 vote by Australian ballot will be the second time taxpayers have been asked to help pay for the project.
