St. Johnsbury School supporters have taken to the streets to raise awareness about next weeks school budget vote

St. Johnsbury School supporters have taken to the streets to raise awareness about next week’s school budget vote, holding and planning events throughout town. Calling themselves SOS – Support Our Students, the group of parents, staff and community members have begun with honk and wave signs along Western Avenue as the school dismisses. These sessions began on Wednesday and are planned through Tuesday when all-day balloting will be held at the town municipal building in the Welcome Center. On Friday, the group was joined by several students who waved signs and shouted for people to turn out and vote. The group was met with honks from the passing motorists.
