Snowy road conditions are believed to have played a factor in a crash on Wednesday involving a Vermont Agency of Transportation plow truck on I-91 in Derby Line. The 10:15 a.m. crash left one vehicle totaled and hospitalized the operator of the other vehicle with what police reported were minor injuries. State police say a 2015 BMW operated by Charles Graham, 37, of Thetford Mines, Quebec, approached a 2018 International VTrans plow truck operated by Dalton Driver, 58, of Newport, that was in the rest area exit lane. Graham’s vehicle went out of control and slid into the truck, police said. The BMW was totaled, police said, while damage to the plow truck was minimal. Graham was transported to North Country Hospital.
