Profile School Board Elections Draw Interest Amid Transparency Concerns
NORTH COUNTRY — The Profile School Board could see significant changes this spring. Nearly half of the seven board seats — two from Bethlehem and one from Easton-Franconia-Sugar Hill — are up for election at the annual meeting on March 20. After a tumultuous year marked by criticism of the board for a lack of communication, transparency, and responsiveness, the upcoming school board races are expected to draw heightened interest. In Bethlehem, four candidates are competing for two seats: incumbent Gordie Johnk and challengers James Noyes, Kaitlyn Deveau and Kimberly Koprowski.
