Police say a Vermont teen has died of her injuries after a house fire in Marshfield.

Police say a Vermont teen has died of her injuries after a house fire in Marshfield. Crews were called to the fire on U.S. Route 2 on Friday at about 2:45 p.m. State Police say Adalyn Phoenix, 18, could not escape the home and was pulled out by firefighters. She later died at the hospital of her injuries. Her family told police they honored their daughter’s wishes by donating her organs to help others. Authorities said on Sunday that the cause of the fire is still under investigation but it is not considered suspicious.
