Police in Lebanon, New Hampshire, saved three people trapped

LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) – Police in Lebanon, New Hampshire, saved three people trapped on a rooftop by fire. Thursday night, a fire broke out in an apartment building on Mechanic Street that also houses the Dairy Twirl. When police got there, the second-floor apartment was in flames, stranding three people on the roof.  Officers jumped into action and used a nearby vehicle as an improvised ladder, climbing onto the roof to reach the stuck residents and get them all down safely. Lebanon fire crews extinguished the flames. The fire caused significant damage to the building but no one was injured.
