Police are looking for a man who was reported missing on July 5 after failing to return home from work. Eric Hackett, 40, was planning to ride his electric bike to his Route 5 home in Sutton after work from Darling Hill Road in Burke. He was last seen at about 3:15 p.m. on July 5 on Darling Hill Road. Hackett is approximately six feet tall and 220 pounds, with short blond/red hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing brownish-green pants, a tee shirt, a baseball cap with a bike helmet and an orange fluorescent vest. His electric bike is blue with blue saddlebags. Anyone with information about Eric Hackett’s whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Johnsbury barracks at (802) 748-3111.
