Peacham’s popular winter carnival returns this month

Peacham’s popular winter carnival returns this month on Friday, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18, after a 2-year hiatus. Friday evening events include a bonfire, skating and snow shoeing at the Peacham school and a talk on skiing history at Peacham library. Saturday events include skiing and snow shoeing, skating, dog sledding, and “Ikiderod” (snow conditions permitting). Other activities include nature walk, sugar on snow, lumberjack and blacksmithing demos, live music, food and snacks at several locations. $5 donation, food extra. Full schedule at peacham.org.
