One man was shot dead and the shooter was taken

LITTLETON — One man was shot dead and the shooter was taken into custody Monday night following a rolling dispute. Eyewitnesses say a Chevy Equinox and a Subaru Impreza repeatedly collided during a chaotic chase that ran from Apthorp Common to the downtown area. At around 11:15 p.m., the vehicles collided a final time and came to a stop in front of 33 Pleasant St., where the driver of the Equinox shot an occupant of the Impreza. Witnesses reported hearing approximately six gun shots fired in quick succession. The victim was transported by ambulance to Littleton Regional Healthcare where they were declared dead. Littleton and New Hampshire State Police quickly arrived on scene and took the shooter into custody. The section of Pleasant Street between Cross and Main Streets was closed to traffic for the death investigation.
