Northeast Kingdom resident Dustin Sheltra was arraigned on four felony charges

Northeast Kingdom resident Dustin Sheltra was arraigned on four felony charges. Sheltra, 27, of Charleston, pleaded not guilty in Orleans Superior Court to burglary, two counts of possession of stolen property and aggravated operation of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. Judge Lisa A. Warren set conditions of release and secured bail at $15,000, which means Sheltra would only have to submit ten percent of the bail ($1,500) to be released. However, Sheltra remains in pre-trial detention at Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury. Sheltra is also wanted in New Hampshire as a fugitive from justice.
