NKHS Honored Nationally for Suicide Prevention Leadership in 2025
ST. JOHNSBURY — Northeast Kingdom Human Services (NKHS) has been nationally recognized by the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) as the 2025 Crisis Services Award recipient, honoring extraordinary efforts in suicide prevention and crisis response.The AAS Crisis Services Award is presented annually to an organization that demonstrates outstanding service in the face of extraordinary circumstances or provides innovative and creative programs to address life-threatening community challenges. This year, NKHS was selected for its leadership in suicide prevention and its unwavering commitment to saving lives across Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
