St. Johnsbury Police are asking for the public’s help in finding $1 and $2 silver certificates

St. Johnsbury Police are asking for the public’s help in finding $1 and $2 silver certificates that were stolen and for any information leading them to the person who stole the bills. A report by Cpl. Steven Hartwell notes that police learned of the theft on Wednesday. He didn’t note how many bills were stolen but stated all the bills are believed to be from 1935 and bear either red or blue seals. “We are requesting the help of the public and local businesses,” noted Cpl. Hartwell. “If anyone sees any of these notes or has information about the theft please contact the St. Johnsbury Police Department at (802)748-2314.”
