New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority awarded
In Concord on Tuesday, the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority awarded more than $1 million in tax credits to three North Country nonprofits. The money will go toward energy efficiency and other upgrades to a historic film and live theater in Bethlehem, a new net-zero aviation operations and training center in Franconia, and, in upper Coos County, a medically based wellness center. The awards were part of a total $6.6 million investment in 20 nonprofit organizations across the Granite State. The funds will significantly impact initiatives that advance local community economic development goals and build capacity for New Hampshire’s nonprofit sector, said CDFA representatives.
