Multiple patients were treated following a two-car accident

JEFFERSON — Multiple patients were treated following a two-car accident earlier this month. Ten people were involved in the accident, seven were transported for treatment, and two others suffered minor injuries in the collision which occurred at the intersection of Presidential Highway and Owls Head Highway shortly after 5 p.m. Aug. 14. Six ambulances responded to the scene due to the number of people involved. The vehicles sustained heavy damage and there was a large amount of debris in the roadway, according to officials. Responding to the scene were Jefferson Fire/EMS, Lancaster EMS, Whitefield EMS, Milan/Dummer EMS, Troop F State Police, and Carons Towing.
