Vermont State Police reported that autopsy results show the death of two men in Seymour Lake

Vermont State Police reported that autopsy results show the death of two men in Seymour Lake in Morgan was caused by accidental drowning. “The preliminary determination of the cause of both deaths was drowning and cold-water immersion, and the manner of the deaths was accidental,” noted a report from the VSP on Friday. Aidan Connolly, 27, of Roslindale, Massachusetts, and Nicholas Samuels, 29, of Weston, Massachusetts, drowned in Seymour on Tuesday. A witness reported seeing them in the water trying to swim for shore but then they went under and did not resurface.
