LYNDON — Following three months of work, a Merger Steering Committee has concluded that Lyndon and Lyndonville should be joined together into a single entity. The committee handed a draft merger proposal to the Select Board and Village Trustees on Monday and recommended it be approved because a united town and village would be more efficient, more effective, and more equitable.
