Manchester police have found the suspect in a convenience store shooting that critically injured a man. Police said 22-year-old Diogene Sengiyumva of Manchester turned himself in for shooting a 27-year-old man on Wednesday morning. Sengiyumva is facing charges of first-degree assault, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and theft by unauthorized taking. Investigators said the shooting at El Parcero Market happened during a confrontation between the two men. Police said Sengiyumva left the store on foot. Police said the victim drove himself to Elliot Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition. The owner of the store said one of his employees was inside the store at the time, but she wasn’t hurt.
