Keene Woman Arrested for Contaminating Grocery Store Food

KEENE, N.H. — A Keene woman has been arrested after police say she recorded herself urinating on food at a local grocery store and posted the videos online. Kelli Tedford, 23, is accused of contaminating bulk food items at the Monadnock Food Co-op, leading to a $1,500 loss in merchandise and cleaning costs, according to Keene police. Authorities say Tedford filmed herself multiple times committing the act, and investigators found videos dating back to 2021 that suggest similar incidents may have occurred in Keene and surrounding communities. As a precaution, the co-op has issued a recall for bulk department items purchased between Feb. 10 and Feb. 15. Affected products include organic red, white, and tri-color quinoa, organic cornmeal, organic polenta, organic coconut shreds, and raw walnuts. Customers can contact the store for refund information.
