Judge Rules Indictments Against NH Supreme Court Justice Will Proceed
MANCHESTER, N.H. — A judge has ruled that the indictments against New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi will not be dismissed. She faces charges of allegedly trying to influence a criminal case against her husband, New Hampshire Port Authority Director Geno Marconi. He has pleaded not guilty in that case. The indictments stem from a meeting Hantz Marconi had with former Gov. Chris Sununu over the summer. Her defense argues she was expressing concerns as both a wife and a judge. Prosecutors said she acted with criminal intent. Hantz Marconi has pleaded not guilty.
