LITTLETON — Following a grant award in 2023, Littleton police officers and full-time and call firefighter/paramedic/EMTs underwent active shooter response training on Thursday at the Littleton Opera House. Among those coordinating the 4-hour training was Shawn Croteau, captain/tactical paramedic at the city of Dover Fire Rescue and an EMS warm zone coordinator and staff instructor for the New Hampshire Fire Academy and Emergency Medical Services. On a regular basis, he has been assisting first responder and their departments across the state. Before Thursday’s training, Littleton first responders completed some classroom work online. The training was provided through a New Hampshire Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management grant.
