JAFFREY, N.H. — Firefighters were responding Wednesday to a three-alarm fire at what was described as a historic home on Main Street in Jaffrey. A woman who lives in the home with her two children said that when she arrived at work Wednesday afternoon, she got a notification from her Ring camera that firefighters were trying to get into the home. Witnesses said it appears that the fire might have started in the barn on the property, and the resident said she believes the barn sustained the most damage. The woman said the building used to be the town post office.
